The InnoSkills project is based on a practical Guide to Support Innovation in Small and Middle Enterprises (SMEs) developed by the European project InnoSupport (2003-2005 - EU Programme Leonardo da Vinci).

Aim of the InnoSkills project is to upgrade, localize and transfer these learning materials in the context of the project's partners countries - Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Portugal - in order to reinforce the competencies of middle management professional profiles in SMEs and allow them to acquire and strengthen innovation management techniques.

The project wants to increase the competitiveness of SMEs by raising the employees' skills through innovation management tools targeting groups of professionals: trainers, students, SMEs advisors and consultants.

The new Guide to Innovation will be enriched by cases, best practices and experiences specific of the countries involved in the project and it will be available in English, Italian, German, Czech and Portuguese.
