OpenInn - a new EU project that enhances creativity and innovation just started

A new EU project called 'OpenInn2.0 - A Knowledge Generating House and e-Assessment Model' just started. The project consortium, lead by the Technical University of Kosice, assembled for its kick-off meeting from 22 to 23 November 2010 in Slovakia.

The idea of the project is to develop an innovative learning paradigm and a website (the Knowledge Generating House) that enhances creativity and innovation by a set of tools that can be used for distributed and collaborative idea generation on a social networking basis, designed according to the Open Innovation concept.

The e-Assessment Model is an e-learning material, a comprehensive pedagogical background, that can be applied also as a guide for using the Knowledge Generating House for lifelong learning and innovation purposes. These results will be on the OpenInn portal in 9 languages (EN, DE, SK, PT, IT, HU, ES, DA, BG).

The project is funded under der Lifelong Learning Programme, Transversal Programme, Key Activity 3 ICT (Promotion of ICT for learning).
